Moon Ga-young is a South Korea actress who was born in Karlsruhe, Germany. She lived there for 10 years before she moved back to Korea in 2006. In the same year she went back to Korea, she was scouted by KeyEast and made her debut as a child actress. Up until now, Moon has starred in 24 dramas and 11 movies.

Moon Ga-young’s on Dramas
Moon Ga-young began her career at young age when she was 10 years old. She also just moved back from Germany to Korea. There is a big difference between the two countries but she could adapt well. She has starred in 24 dramas since her debut in 2006. Her first drama was Mnet’s Fallen Angel, Jenny as Hye-mi.
In 2007, she appeared in 7 dramas, Cloudy Today, Prince Hours, By My Side, Witch Yoo Hee, Merry Mary, and Hometown Over the Hill.
In 2011, she began to play a teenager character. She acted as Lee Jung-hyun in Heartstrings. Lee Jung-hyun is a younger sister of Lee Shin (male lead) who is a spoiled brat that often extorts money from Lee Shin and Gyu-won.
In 2015, she was chosen as the female lead for a Naver web drama along with the popular boy group EXO. She acted as Ji Yeon-hee in EXO Next Door. As the web drama become one of the most popular web dramas in South Korea, Moon Ga-young’s popularity also rising up.
Her latest drama was The Great Seducer. It is a drama based on the French novel titled Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. Moon Ga-young acted as Choi Soo-ji who is best friends with the two male lead Kwon Shi-hyun and Lee Se-joo, she is also the one who initiated Shi-hyun to seduce Eun Tae-hee.

Moon Ga-young has starred in 11 movies since her debut in 2006. Her first movie was To Sir, with Love where she acted as young Eun-young in 2011. A year later, she appeared in 4 movies, Bunt, Black House, Shadows in the Palace and Our Town.
In 2008, she acted as Bun-rye in Do You See Seoul?. In 2013, she appeared in horror movie Killer Toon and she acted as Jo Seo-hyun. Two years later she appeared as Ah-young in Salut d’Amour and as Yeon-joo in Island.
Her latest movie was Twenty Again where she acted as Soo-mi. The movie was set in both Korea and Italy.
